About Blower Doors
In 2007, Georgia adopted a new energy code requiring all new homes to meet certain energy efficient requirements. This is measured with Duct Blaster and Blower Door tests.
In the duct blaster test, we use a calibrated fan to measure air loss in the HVAC system.
For the blower door, we use a different calibrated fan to measure air loss “drafftyness” of the building envelop.
